Questions asked by BnB Guests before booking

There's so much to say about your home and you're not going to be able to detail everything in your advertising (and sometimes people don't read what you've written) so you're likely to be asked questions from BnB guests prior to booking.

There will be a wide range of questions, some specific to certain circumstances and interests, but these are some of the questions I've been asked by BnB Guests before booking with me.

• Is it a safe area?
• How do I get from… to your home? And how long does it take?
• How do I get to .... from your home? (e.g. attractions, airports, tube stations, etc)
• Is there a washing machine (and charge?)
• Who else will be there?
• Is the bathroom shared?
• Is there a lock on the bedroom door?
• Are there black out curtains / blinds?
• Can I check in early?
• Can I check out late?
• Can I leave my luggage?
• The price is above my budget, can you offer a discount?
• Do you offer a discount for regular stays?
• Do you offer a discount for 'long' stays?
• Is it quiet?
• Can I have a guest?
• Can I bring a pet?
• Can I bring a child?
• What is the size of the room?
• Are there steps? If so, how many?
• Do you have air conditioning?
• Are there places near you to eat out?
• How far away is the nearest bus stop / station?
• Are there shops nearby?
• How do I get tickets for (events, attractions, theatre shows)?
• Is your home close to tourist places?
• Is your home a house or a flat?
• Will the bathroom be cleaned every day?
• Where can I park my car? 
• How does the check in work?
• Are guests able to use the kitchen and lounge?
• How hot does the room get in the summer?
• Can I work from your home?
• Is there a desk in the room?
• Is it ok to get up early? 
• Is it ok to stay out late?
• Will I be able to cancel my reservation if I change my mind?
• Does anyone in your home smoke?
• Do you have pets? (allergy sufferers)
• Is there room for a yoga mat?
• Is there somewhere I can put my bike?
• I see you're not available on (date), can I book that date with you?
