Being a live-in BnB host is a rewarding experience.
You are sharing your home with people you wouldn't have met otherwise. You get the chance to learn about different people, cultures and countries (and maybe even get an invite or two).
It gives you the chance to share your local area with others and they may even leave you with some tips and recommendations of new places to visit.
It's nice to know you have made their stay in your town easier by giving them helpful advice and a comfortable and friendly place to stay.
If you're lucky enough to get repeat visitors, it's always lovely to welcome back past guests, knowing they enjoy staying with you, especially if they start calling your place their 'second home'.
